Science Week with Mad Science
All the children were thrilled and entertained by a visit from Dan from Mad Science who came in to help us celebrate Science Week.
We had three different shows – one for EYFS, one for KS1 and one for KS2.
The children were very engaged and had lots of good answers to the questions they were asked and everyone loved seeing the fire and explosions! (have a look at our Instagram page for some videos @stmarysschooln8)
Here are some things to ask your children about
- What three things do you need to make fire?
- Ask your children how to make icing sugar flammable
- Ask your children what colour light is
- What colour does copper sulphate turn when it’s on fire?
Thank you to our Science Lead teacher, Ms Ceylan Rizzo for organising all our activities.
