The School Day

We are open for the required number of hours per day, typically 32.5 hours per week. The school day structure for each phase can be found below:

8.40am	Gates open member of staff on duty in the main playground
8.50am	Gates closes
9.00am	Registers close
9.00am	Assembly
9.25am	Curriculum
10.20am	Playtime
10.30am	Bell Rings
10.35am	Curriculum
11.50pm	Lunchtime – Children come downstairs for lunch. Classes are divided into sittings
1.30pm	Lunchtime finishes
1.25pm	Afternoon session 1
	– Younger children may have an afternoon break
2.20pm	Afternoon session 2
3.20pm	End of school day – Children go to a ‘going home place’ and parent/carers come to the playground. Class teachers allow children to go when parent/carer is present.
	Children who are not collected are brought to the office for a telephone call to parents/carers. Staff to record this in absence/lateness book in office. Member of the Leadership Team will supervise late children.
