When I Grow Up Day 2025

On Wednesday, the children had a very special day, with visitors from all walks of life, who gave up their time to come in and talk about their jobs and careers, and how they ended up in those professions.

Thank you to our PCSOs and Met Police (PCSO Khatun and her colleagues Paz, Marta and Joyce), Harriet (Music Teacher), Marijana (Talent Acquisition), Jeni (GP), Emma (Community Engagement), Hilary (Yoga Teacher), George (Creative Technologist), Koray (Business Consultant, Charity Sector), Sara (Environmentalist), Sam (Marketing/Campaigns Tech), Dorota (Further Education Specialist).

The children dressed up, or made a lanyard or brought a prop to show what they would like to be when they grow up. After the visitors had visited the classes, we held a careers fair in the hall where the children from Year 5 and Year 6 had the opportunity to ask questions.

It was an inspirational day and we are hugely grateful to the people who gave up their time to come and talk to the children.
