Visions of the Week are: How We Show Our Vision Through Hope & Respect
Each week, two children from each class are identified and celebrated for being Children of the Week for their class. One for demonstrating our Christian Vision of the week and the other for any other great reason.

Maia Carmen | Maia is a wonderful friend to all in Scarlet class. She always looks out for others and makes sure everyone is okay. Maia’s compassion for all at St Mary’s is very much admired & appreciated. Carmen is a wonderful friend to everyone in Scarlet. She has been a huge help to new students, ensuring they are supported in the classroom and playground. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend, Carmen. | |

We were also so impressed by your dedication to being a firefighter on When I Grow Up Day. Ms Brewer and I are so proud of you! We all know what an incredible scientist you are. I also know you to be a fantastic writer. It has been wonderful this week to see you produce a superb nature documentary narrative driven by your knowledge, interest and passion for science. All of this stands you in good stead for secondary school, where I have no doubt you will flourish. 6 Indigo | Leo Zoe | Leo has been working hard in class, studiously applying himself to tasks including developing his understanding of time as well as applying himself out of the classroom such as our recent auditions Showing the values of endurance and wisdom, Zoe sets a high standard for herself in the work she produces but also asks interesting questions, seeking further understanding which enhances the lessons and benefits the entire class as a result. |
Davi Eddie | Davi shows many of the values we venerate in school. Whether through endurance and wisdom within class as he tries to improve his skill-set and take on feedback or by showing friendship, compassion or community in his demeanour and behaviour towards others including his politeness which many adults in school have commented on. Eddie has been working hard in all our lessons lately and has become more involved in class discussions and question and answer segments and I hope he will continue to do so. | |

| RJ (Y6 Amethyst) Kayla-Rose (Y6 Amethyst) Ava (R Ducklings) Alicia (Y6) Franky (Y4) Zara (Reception) | RJ has shown talent and enthusiasm for cricket the last few weeks… Great team team player who always gives 100% in every activity and every lesson! Kayla has lots of potential in many sports but showed her jumping ability at the athletics competition this week and her powerful batting skills in cricket lessons! Ava made good progress in Hockey this week and has shown great potential in PE all year. She has excelled in most sports and is on her way to being a superstar sportsperson! Has made great progress in our cricket module and has shown a good understanding of a complicated game! Shows fantastic sportsmanship in every lesson! Has made great progress in Football club and excels in most sports! Such a brilliant young sports person who has done well in all sports this year. She works hard in every activity making great progress. |
