Dear Parents and Carers,
St Mary’s have been busy. The Christmas hoops made by each class are ready to go! Both children and adults have worked hard on these festive creations, and they will be proudly displayed in the hall from next week for everyone to enjoy. Christmas is coming!
Christmas Dates – please check your diaries
As we approach one of our busiest and most exciting periods of the year, we’d like to remind families that we have a packed calendar of events going on, including non-uniform day in return for a lovely gift for the tombola on Tuesday, followed by our very special Advent Assembly on Wednesday. Have a look at the poster below with a round-up of December and make a note of the days that relate to you and your family.
Maths Stay & Play – Tuesday 2nd December from Drop-Off
On Tuesday we are holding our first Maths Stay & Play of the year. Please come to your child’s class after drop-off on Tuesday to play some maths games in class with your children.
Photos Reminder
Following the recent visit from Van Cols Photographers, this is a reminder that Saturday 29th November is the cut-off date to order individual photos to receive free delivery to school. Orders after that date will have postage.
PSA Cake Sale Success
Our recent PSA Cake Sales made £114.50 which the PSA will donate to the Red Cross towards the Hurricane Melissa Emergency Relief fund. Big thanks to everyone who made, donated or bought cakes and to those who helped out on the day.

Our PSA are also gearing up for our wonderful Christmas Fair next Friday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Please get involved, if you can, but definitely aim to come along and enjoy the event (see the one week to go poster below)

And don’t forget the Hornsey Parish Church Christmas Market tomorrow (Saturday) from 1-4pm in the hall at Cranley Gardens. If you’re looking to get into the Christmas spirit, this is a lovely local event to pop along to and support.
