27 May Y5 Trip to Paris
Y5 Trip to Paris
Most of the children from Y5, and a few from Y6 spent the day in Paris, seeing the sights and visiting their penpals. They had a very early start (meeting at St Pancras International at 5.30am) and took the Eurostar to Gare Du Nord. They travelled on the Metro to their penpals school, La Vilette, where the school had kindly provided a picnic lunch that they ate in a nearby park with their penfriends. After that they travelled on the Metro to have a ride on the Bateaux Mouche along the Seine where they saw lots of landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower. Next stop was the historic crepe stop where the children ordered their crepe in French, choosing their own toppings.
This is the 10th year that Mme Baker has been leading this trip and after a two-year gap they’re back!
Merci beaucoup Mme Baker.
