STARS – Sustainable Travel: Active, Responsible, Safe

We are proud to take part in STARS, the Transport for London accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries and we have achieved Gold level accreditation every year since 2016.

STARS inspires young Londoners to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling.

STARS supports pupils’ wellbeing, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and improve road safety and air quality.

At St Mary’s we do everything we can to help and support sustainable travel to and from school and on school trips and are proud to have been awarded Gold Level Accreditation from TfL’s flagship STARS accreditation scheme for our efforts in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
