Art – Autumn 2 2025
Year 5 Art
Year 5 have been doing still life observational drawings exploring line, tone and composition. We used a limited colour palette and oil pastels inspired but the artwork of Giorgio Morandi.
Year 4 Art
Year 4 created watercolour and mixed media sound paintings inspired by music and the artwork of Kandinsky.
Nursery – Art – Autumn and Winter with three techniques
We have been exploring how the leaves and trees change in Autumn and Winter. We have selected Autumn colours and experimented mixing brown with the primary colours, yellow, red and blue.
We have used our drawing skills with oil pastels, collected autumn leaves and made leaf prints and used finger printing to make icy winter trees.
