Bibliobuzz Awards Ceremony Spring 2025

Twelve children have been attending Bibliobuzz Club for the past several weeks, reading books on a shortlist to decide who should be awarded Best Book at the Bibliobuzz Awards Ceremony at Alexandra Palace on Friday 14th March. Mr Gould and Ms White took them to the ceremony, which was very exciting.

Maria said: “On Friday we went to Alexandra Palace Bibliobuzz Awards. Before we went to Alexandra Palace we made sure we had all we needed and got a small book to get some autographs from the authors. Once we got to Ally Pally we headed to the theatre and asked questions to the authors. Finally, we had a workshop with Lucy Strange and wrote a tiny story. After that amazing activity, we had lunch and got some autographs. Then we went to the theatre and they awarded the best book. Lastly, we got more signatures and left. Once we got back to school, it was the end of the day and we told our parents about the whole day. In the end, we got autographs from Lucy Strange, Sam Sedgman and Chibundo Onuzo and Lindsay Littleton. Unfortunately we couldn’t get an autograph from Guy Bass.”
