Visions of the Week are: How We Show Our Vision Through Faith and Respect
Each week, two children from each class are identified and celebrated for being Children of the Week for their class. One for demonstrating our Christian Vision of the week and the other for any other great reason.

| Y4 Scarlet | Jack Bethlehem | Jack has been showing the Christian values of wisdom this week. He regularly wows me with the content and detail in his learning tasks (not to mention his fabulous writing portfolio). Even outside of our lessons, he is logical, empathetic and patient in solving problems using creative solutions and ideas. I am proud of you! For working so well in maths this week, and using your knowledge and learning to help others too. You are an inspiration to us all for your enthusiasm, kindness and friendship in class. |
Bebolt Alina | Having only recently joined St Mary’s, you are already off to a super start in showing such positivity and enthusiasm in your learning. You are smashing through your tables challenges and are a role model student in your manners and listening skills too. Keep up the super work! Although he occasionally requires a gentle reminder to remain focused, he consistently demonstrates excellent participation in lessons. He engages confidently in discussions and is always eager to refine his outcomes, for example, he’ll often checking in with me for my thoughts and advice on how to improve a sentence. |

| 6 Indigo | Shayla Nicole | Shayla is working in a focussed way towards her targets whether in English, maths or reading and this focus is helping to progress. The quality of her work is ever-improving as should be her confidence in her skills Nicole is working hard in all areas of the curriculum but it is always particularly pleasing when I am greeted with the phrase, ‘Mr Cummins, I finished my book’. Her reading has improved greatly, she is more independent and it is wonderful to see her enjoying the progress she is making. |
Emilia Selina | The standard of Emilia’s work, particularly her writing, has improved greatly with particular improvements in spelling and punctuation while in maths, she continues to progress in a determined way as she picks up skill after skill. Well done, Emilia Selina shows the values of wisdom and endurance in many areas of school. One area is reading, where she is keen to progress and proud of the improvements she has made towards becoming more independent. | |

Had a brilliant gymnastics vault lesson this week and developed a front handspring (forward flip)! Showed her talent in gymnastics. Very impressed with the creativity and technique when making her own gym floor routine Great work in our gymnastics jumping lesson this week. Showed great balance and control when landing her gymnastics vaults/jumps For concentrating on her gymnastics jumps and showing she can land ‘statue still’! Always gives her best and clearly loves PE A brilliant addition to our school who brings such positivity to every lesson. Has made great progress this year and has shown to be very capable in lots of sports! Very impressed with her focus and progress in our floor gymnastics last week. Worked hard to create a short but well practised gym routine |
