Crimson Class Assembly Summer 2024
Crimson Class kicked off the class assemblies for the summer term with a fantastic performance all about pollution and saving the planet. The children spoke clearly, sang beautifully and acted very well whilst giving us lots of information about how we can live better, less impactful lives and what the dangers are if we don’t. Their audience of children and parents/carers also contributed some ideas of how we can help:-
“Stop littering” – less plastic in the seas and rivers
“Walk instead of going in a car” – this is one of our passions
A parent suggested that we should eat locally grown food, which is great and one of the reasons we have our allotment at Rectory Gardens and why Y2 and the nursery are growing things – to instill a love of growing and the knowledge that even in a busy city like London we can make produce.
