Donkey Day 2026 – Easter Service
Well the sun really shone for us all on our traditional Easter Parade, featuring Derek The Donkey who processed with the Church Lane children to Rectory Gardens so that we could all enjoy to lovely service, full of joy and singing.
Thank you to City Farm for the loan of Derek, the Church Team for leading such a lovely service, Ms Peacock for rousing us in song and the Metropolitan Police who came to escort the chidlren there and back.
Who knows what will happen next year, when we’re on one site, but let’s hope it always involves a donkey!
