Easter Procession 2023
On Wednesday 29th March Church Lane processed with the Church Team and Derek the Donkey to Rectory Gardens where we enjoyed a service led by Fr Bruce and Mthr Mitzi, assisted by Gavin Childress and Harry Daniels. The weather looked a bit worrying so we all squeezed into the hall where we sang and waved our palms as we remembered the story of Jesus and why Easter is important to Christians.
We were helped by PC Harry Hutchins, PC Sam Hempstead, PCSO Lucia Popovici, and PCSO Amy Hennig who gave us a safe escort – thank you so much to them.

Easter Bonnet Day
On Thursday some of the children came to school with their best Easter bonnets on. We had a special assembly and the children paraded around the hall. Winners were chosen from two categories – Best Original Design and Most Beautifully Decorated. Didn’t they look great? All those that took part were awarded House Points too.
