Year 2 – Measuring and Growing
In maths, we have been learning about mass and capacity and got the opportunity to explore this practically by measuring in millilitres. In science, Y2 have been continuing to learn about plants. The children have been completing a plant diary to observe the growth of the plant.We will also begin to plant some lovely plants to make our playground look even nicer. We will be planting dill, different colour sunflowers, sweetcorn, courgettes, rhubarb and tall sunflowers. Not only will our playground look nicer, but we will also be growing some things we can eat too. Yummy!!
