Y2 Visit Railway Fields
To support their science topic, Year 2 became flora and fauna experts at Railway Fields when they visited recently. Railway Fields is a two-acre nature reserve, hidden away behind the very busy Green Lanes, near Harringay Station. They’ve transformed a former disused railway goods yard into a beautiful haven, which has won a Green Flag Award.
The children searched for mini-beasts and were guided by the Education Officer on where to look.
