Year 3 Have a Wonderful Day at the British Museum

Year 3 had a fantastic trip to the British Museum as part of our Ancient Egypt topic. The children were amazed to see real historical artefacts, including the famous Rosetta Stone. They also explored objects from different cultures and were fascinated by a tribal necklace made from real dolphin teeth. The visit helped bring our learning to life and sparked lots of curiosity and great questions back in the classroom.  Ezra said: “It best the best day of my life! Everything was my favourite!”, while Keliscere said: “I loved seeing the amazing statues and the coffins”. Korosh was impressed and said: “We were able to touch some linen cloth that was used to wrap the bodies.”
