Year 3 Go Mudlarking

Year 3 visited Southwark to carry out exciting fieldwork on the Thames riverside and foreshore. They  explored the local environment and took part in a real mudlarking experience. They searched the foreshore for hidden treasures and historical artefacts. Each discovery helped them learn more about life along the Thames in the past. This hands on experience gave pupils a deeper understanding of how the area has changed over time.
