Year 4 – The Floor Is Lava!
Year 4 went on a trip to the Natural History Museum to visit the Earthquake and Volcanos Gallery. During our visit, we took part in an exciting interactive workshop where we learned a lot about how earthquakes happen and how they affect the Earth. We discovered that earthquakes are caused by movements in the Earth’s crust, when large sections of rock called tectonic plates suddenly shift. The energy released from this movement creates waves that make the ground shake. We learnt lots and had a fun day!
