Why are the rainforests important?
We had a very interesting workshop in the Palm House. The Palm house is a greenhouse that has an environment like a tropical rainforest, this means that they are able to grow plants that live in rainforests. We saw: bananas, coffee, pepper, vanilla and many others. We found out that many plants are used in medicines and important drugs. Did you know this is how bananas grow?
