Year 5 plant and pollination investigations

During their science topic of lifecycles, the Year 5 children have explored how seeds disperse and enjoyed learning about seed helicopters.  They then make their own and set them off to fly!  The children also dissected fruit, tulips, daffodils and lilies to understand the structure of a plant that are suited of pollination by wind and ‘bee-transport’.
