21 Mar RE – Collective Worship
Jesus said, ‘Love one another as I have loved you.’ (John 15:12)
Collective Worship is a time to sing, pray, reflect, be still and be thankful. It is also a time to show our compassion for our local community.
We come together to worship many things and be thankful for many things.
At Harvest time, our Church team, Holy Trinity church team, food bank volunteers, children, staff and parents come together to celebrate and donate food to our local food banks run by Holy Trinity church.
Advent is a time we can come together as a whole school community to celebrate, sing, pray, reflect on the coming of Jesus and light up our hall.
During our Remembrance Day Assembly we reflect on those who lost their lives in wars.
We celebrate special times such as when we dress in red for our Christian Aid assembly where we think about the children around the world who need our help and support.
We share our assemblies with special visitors, such as the Mayor of Haringey who shared with our children what he does and how he achieved his role at such a young age via a question and answer session.
