Nursery Have Been Busy
Nursery has had so much fun recalling “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” story, talking about the days of the week, the life cycle of a butterfly and talking about numbers. The children have enjoyed learning about simple patterns, exploring mixing colours and looking after the garden, observing how strawberries grow. On When I Grow Up Day, the children dressed up in their favourite costumes and had a special visit, the police! On the first week back after the half term, nursery has been focussing on learning about amounts of more and fewer, and introducing dinosaurs through the story “Harry and the Dinosaurs”.
