Sports Day 2026!!

What a fantastic sports day we had – maybe our best ever?! With the sun beating down, we got going as early as possible as children from Church Lane and Rectory Gardens took part in a range of fun activities. We had Archery, Basketball Shoot Out, Long Jump and the ever popular High Jump event! Church Lane children also did throwing and jumping too. As well as the field events, there was also the usual fun races as well the more competitive ones! None more so than the parents race at the end!! Children, parents and staff came together to enjoy this fun day and cheer on their houses and teammates! After hours of competition, the results were in; A huge well done to Eagle for winning the Church Lane Sports Day Cup and to Grove for winning the Rectory Gardens cup! However, Rectory were only 11 points away so it was very close! Well done to all the children, parents and staff for making it such a success!
