Apart from travelling to Paris this week, Year 5 have had an introduction to the delights of cooking. They have chopped, grated and sliced vegetables to create a delicious spaghetti Bolognese. They also prepared a vegetarian version to compare the flavours.
Ihab said “I have never grated a carrot before in my life”
Bejan explained the steps and ingredients to Souad, our school chef, who came in to have a look at the children.
Mrs Frohock was very impressed with Daniah-Lea’s chopping ability and the general consensus over both classes was that it tasted delicious and was really fun to do.
