Year 5 Off To Paris
Year 5 met at St Pancras Eurostar Departures at 5.30am this morning to set off for their exciting day in Paris.
Everyone made it in time and the train left, bang on the dot. The children were on their way, in glorious sunshine. It’s going to be a hot one!
So far, the children have seen the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and then enjoyed a lovely shady lunch. After lunch they saw the Sacre Coeur.
Next stop was to the area with lots of shops selling crepes. Delicious.
Next stop Gare du Nord, and the train home. What a day to remember!
A few children were not able to attend the trip but they had a special day with Ms Vidic, helping out the smaller children at Church Lane, then doing some art and making their own crepes – including tossing them and adding delicious toppings including raspberries from the school garden.
