Rectory Gardens Enjoy An Amazing Steel Pan Workshop
We welcomed Shareen from Steel Pan Agency back in to Rectory Gardens today, to do workshops with all the children. The day started with a rousing assembly which had everyone clapping, tapping and foot-stamping as they listened to “Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot” which was perfect on such a freezing cold day! Each class then had a turn to learn the pans and it’s incredible to see how much the children learn and retain is such a limited amount of time. Thank you Shareen for bringing some Caribbean sunshine in to school on such a cold day.
