Visions of the Week are: How We Show Our Vision Through Compassion and Joy
Each week, two children from each class are identified and celebrated for being Children of the Week for their class. One for demonstrating our Christian Vision of the week and the other for any other great reason.

Kimberley has shown such a growth in confidence in the last few weeks, particularly in maths. She is more willing to attempt tasks independently and to use the skills she’s learnt without second-guessing her ability. Kimberley should be extremely proud of how far she has come this year Jani has grown into a more independent learner the last few months, particularly in maths where her confidence has blossomed! She willingly attempts her independent work before asking for support which has helped her believe in her own abilities. Well done, Jani! |

Holly consistently shows the Christian values of friendship and compassion. She helps all new students settle into St Mary’s. Holly was also a big help for Scarlet class, helping them for our class assembly by making props that everyone could use. Thank you Holly! Agnes consistently shows the Christian value of endurance. She takes her time to make sure her work is her best quality. Agnes always wants to make sure each task is better than her last by displaying beautiful bookwork with exceptional vocabulary! Ada has worked hard all year and deserves recognition for this but what is even more remarkable is her consistency with going the extra mile whether that’s helping others, offering advice, helping adults and keeping the machinery of the class moving, her dedication and presence are a gift to the class we should be grateful for Walter has worked very hard all year and deserves to be recognised for this. He has set a high standard for himself and worked consistently to maintain it in all areas of the curriculum – all while taking on new skills. Furthermore, he has shown the same dedication to his high standard during our SATs week |

Showing the values of wisdom and community, Zaiah is a constant and valued contributor to class discussions with answers to questions or questions of his own which enhances the lessons to everyone’s benefit For showing the values of community and friendship, Alex has brightened the days of his classmates, welcoming them in on a morning or saying goodbye in an afternoon as well as helping in the lunch hall during SATs breakfast |

Worked well in athletics and basketball this week. Someone who always gives 100% in every activity. Has lots of skills in different sports and is a great team player Had a great middle distance run in athletics. Has made good progress this year and is a real team player who always tries his best and helps the team! Showed real talent in football this week and excelled in our dribbling activities. Enjoys PE and plays sport with a smile! |
