DT in Year 5
Year 5 spent the first lesson of DT this term building structures out of cocktail sticks and sweets! This was lots of fun and we were exploring how to make structures stable, aesthetically pleasing and strong. The children worked collaboratively and discussed design and stability before starting. Thaigo said, ‘This is great, our building is very strong and we have strengthened the base!’
