International Women’s Day – investigating democracy
A group of girls were taken by Ms Clarke, Ms White and Ms Wynter to visit the Houses of Parliament. The trip coincided with International Women’s Day and the girls were lucky enough to have a wonderful workshop with a woman who told them about the importance of engagement and having the courage to believe in yourself.
They had a chance to see the House of Lords in action (House of Ladies/Peers??) and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Taking part were: Krystle, Ciana, Aline, Phoebe, Sophia, Belen, Kayla, Tayliah, Kacia, Amina, Sandra and Robyn.
