Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Picnic

We Celebrated The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

On Friday 27th May we had a wonderful Platinum Jubilee Picnic in the Hornsey Church Tower churchyard. The whole school came together and we played games such as Pin The Tail On The Corgi, Put The Crown On The Queen, Tug of War and Beat The Goalie. Reception abseiled their teddies down the Church Tower and Year 6 got to walk up to the top.

Two of our local councillors set the proceedings off and we sang the National Anthem. We all had a lovely picnic together and want to give a massive thank you to the Olive Dining staff who made such lovely packed lunches for lots of the children.

Thank you Mrs Molloy for being the driving force behind this event and Mr Bruce and Mr Murphy for helping with the technicalities, and supporting us so much. Thank you also to the PSA for helping us with the games and activities.
