Basketball Outreach Programme
We are very pleased to have Access Sports in school delivering some outreach basketball sessions to girls in Year 5. The girls are really developing their skills thanks to the expertise of Access Sports
Gymnastics PE Module – Spring 1 2024
This term the children are covering all areas of the gymnastics curriculum and have a lot of fun tumbling, leaping, spinning and balancing. The children are really enjoying it and pushing themselves to be brave.
Indoor Athletics Event at St Thomas More School – 18 01 24
On Thursday Mr Oakley took a group of children to an indoor athletics tournament held at St Thomas More School. The children competed brilliantly across many events and performed especially well in the relay races achieving gold or silver in most races!
After a nail-biting tally of the score we were ecstatic to find out we qualified in second place, meaning we will take part in the finals at the end of the month.
Taking part were Jack, Christian, Bejan, Triston, Antowan, Joseph, Chibu, Zane, Lilia, Olivia, Daniah-Lea, Harri, Wealthy, Hristina, Ciana, Deborah A, Naomi E and Ada.

Cycling Event – Ducketts Common 19 01 24
Mr Allison took 10 children along to the rescheduled cycing event at Ducketts Common. The standard was very high for this round but some children managed to pick up individual silvers and golds and all the points will go toward our total in the league.
Taking part were: Alex T, Godsend, Rico, Godwin, Isabelle P, Ada, Olivia C, Zelal, Safaa and Bertie. Thank you also to Alex’s mum for coming along to help.
New Age Kurling Event 23 01 24
Ms Zavrou and Ms Vidic took several children along to a New Age Kurling event at APS. It was lots of fun and the children learned a new skill. It’s similar to ice curling. Taking part were: Leona, Kenny, Jojo, Jayden, Didi and Tatum.
