Whole School Outing – Whipsnade & Broadstairs – June 2023
All the children from Nursery right up to Y6 had fantastic days on their outings.
Church Lane went by coach to Whipsnade, laden with sun hats and packed lunches. They put in a lot of steps (the site is huge) and hopefully every child got to see their favourite animals.
It took 5 coaches to get Rectory Gardens to Broadstairs. Despite some challenging traffic on the way there (and back) the children had a wonderful time playing on the beach, getting sand in their sandwiches while protecting them from pesky seagulls but the highlight was everyone having a splash about in the sea – it was a bit chilly but everyone really seemed to enjoy it.
