Y1 Start Back And Get Busy
In English, we have been listening to, acting out and writing about a story called ‘The Secrets of Black Rock’ by Joe Todd Stanton. In maths, we created arrays using cubes and counters to help us count in equal groups. In RE, we have begun investigating the real meaning of the story of Noah through Godly Play, using objects to tell the story and answer I wonder questions reflectively. In science, we went for a nature walk to investigate how the plants have changed, what plants we could name and what wildlife we could see and in geography we went for a walk to investigate what the weather was like.
