Learning to Classify By Investigating

Year 2 have been busy learning all about everyday materials in science. In one of their lessons, the pupils had to find objects in the classroom and playground that are made from materials like plastic, wood, metal and use their phonemes to help them write the names of objects in their books. They have also been learning about subtraction using physical devises to learn about exchanging a ten into a one to help.
