Sapphire and Topaz Class Investigated Night and Day

All the children in Sapphire and Topaz class took part in a science investigation working together to investigate how night and day occurs. We used torches and tennis balls to replicate the sun and the earth, and pingpong balls for the moon – to show how the sun’s light catches the moon so it’s visible to those on the dark side of the earth at night time.
