Y5 Visit The National Gallery
On Monday Y5 went to Trafalgar Square to visit the National Gallery. They took the tube from Finsbury Park to Piccadilly Circus. They explored a variety of art and depictions of religion in art. They had the opportunity to walk through many of the galleries and had a lesson about religion and history in art.
This is what they thought:
Harmony (Topaz): “this place is magical!”
Amelia (Topaz): “I can make so many connections by looking at these different pictures!”
Luckily, the weather was on our side today during our day out in central London and we all had a wonderful time!
