Y4 Trip to The British Museum
Last week, as part of their topic on Roman Britain, Y4 visited The British Museum in the heart of Bloomsbury in central London. It was a fantastic trip and the children really enjoyed researching Roman Lifestyle. In the afternoon they explored more of the museum and found lots of interesting things like The Rosetta Stone and the (approximately) 600 year old Brass Head of the ‘Ooni of Ife’. Today, Ooni is seen as one of the most sacred West African kings of Ife, a town in the Nigerian city of Benin.
