Visions of the Week are: How We Show Our Vision Through Compassion
Each week, two children from each class are identified and celebrated for being Children of the Week for their class. One for demonstrating our Christian Vision of the week and the other for any other great reason.

Y4 Scarlet | Khian Alexander | Khian has returned this term with a brilliant attitude to learning. After recently receiving his pen licence, he makes sure his work is always neat and has shown his best possible standard in all areas. Alexander shows wonderful qualities of friendship. He goes out of his way to support his peers. It was particularly lovely to see Alexander go out of his way to create a birthday card, signed by the whole class, for a student in Scarlet class this week. Thank you for being so kind, Alexander! |
Ed Eliza | Ed’s cheerful smile brightens our day in Scarlet class. He always displays a positive attitude and doesn’t let much phase him. Ed’s friendship is appreciated by all! Eliza is new to Scarlet class this term and has made great progress. She has shown a great improvement in learning English and tries her hardest to learn new words. Well done, Eliza. | |

6 Indigo | Naomi E Marina | Naomi has worked hard all year to continuously elevate her standards and skills no matter how high they get across the curriculum. For example, even at this late stage, she continues to drive her writing quality forwards and is meeting the challenge of our production with her typical focus and calibre Showing the value of wisdom, Marina has recently been visibly more attentive during lessons and offering answers and suggestions. As well as being a good model for others, this will help her to get more out of sessions. |
Tamika Zaneta | Showing the value of wisdom, Tamika appears to have made an excellent decision by putting in a lot of early work into her character and line delivery and the benefits are clear Zaneta has continued to make great strides across the curriculum through her outstanding effort. For example, in presentation, spelling, quality of writing, contributions to discussions and a clear effort towards her lines and characters for our production. | |

Sports Person of the Week
| Marina (Y6) Jazai (Y3) Eliab (Y1) Jesse (Reception) Tayshia (Y4) Alexander (Y4) | Marina always gives 100% in every activity. She’s a great team player and tries every sport without hesitation! Jazai loves sport and has made quick progress in both PE and football club. He’s good at lots of sports and has shown a calmer more focused side in PE this year Eliab has boundless energy and enthusiasm for sport and PE. Eliab’s good at lots of sports but especially basketball and football. He always does everything with a smile on his face Has made lots of progress this year and has done well in lots of sports. He showed a natural talent for tennis this week! Tayshia has had a fantastic year, representing the school in netball, athletics and football. She has made rapid progress in netball and completes every sport and every activity with maximum effort and focus. Alexander has made great progress this year, excelling in cycling, athletics, cricket and gymnastics. Someone who clearly loves sport and plays every game with a smile on his face. |
