Nursery Have Been Busy

The nursery children are so excited to be back at school and seeing all their friends! We have started our new exciting topic based on the story The Three Little Pigs and have been talking and remembering the structure of a story, and what makes a good story teller. The children have been exploring different materials and their properties, being able to talk and describe differences and similarities. In maths, we have introduced new positional vocabulary and explored moving our bodies. We have also discussed healthy habits at home and at nursery. This week we have celebrated Pancake Day, making some delicious pancakes to enjoy during snack time, and World Book Day, dressing up as the characters from our favourite stories and reading our favourite books.
