Y6 create art based on the work of Odili Donald Odita

Year 6 have been enjoying learning about Odili Donald Odita, the Nigerian American abstract painter.  His vibrant large-scale abstractions are considered to raise questions about race and society with his work being inspired by the vibrant textiles of his home country, Nigeria, mixed with patterns from Western modernity.  We love the children’s creations based on the his art work.
